Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 66 awakening ,

"Arrgh!" another disciple screamed as he picked up his sword.

...clank... crack...Nôv(el)B\\jnn

The blade shattered in his hands, moments before a SEIDE killed him , sucking him dry. More outer disciples charged, desperation in their eyes. Each fought fiercely, driven by the hope of seeing their loved ones again, putting their lives on the line.

From a distance, the elite disciples, inner disciples, and even personal disciples watched as the outer disciples, newly joined, fought with everything they had. Most if not all have loved ones outside.. they fight not because they think they can win but they fight all because they had someone out there —Someone waiting for them to return , to come and save them.

The sky rained SEIDES. One after another, disciples fell, their screams merging with the chaotic sounds of battle.

"Hahaha!" An elder burst out laughing. "What am I doing? What are we doing, standing idle? Wait for death if you must, but not me!" He surged forward, releasing a wave of energy that obliterated millions of SEIDES in an instant.

The elder's power sent a jolt through the ranks. SEIDES were weak at Rank 0, but the true threat—Rank 1 and Rank 2—still loomed above. More ominous still was the being that hadn't yet descended upon their world.

But for now, they fought on.

Inspired by the elder's boldness, the outer disciples rallied, their morale restored. The elite disciples, embarrassed by their inaction, grabbed their weapons and joined the fray.

The battlefield shifted, momentum changing as more elders stepped in, their powers turning the tide.

Yet one person remained still: the sect master. Her eyes scanned the skies, waiting—waiting for the Quasi Rank 3 SEIDES to descend.

...in the forest....

Linkir and the Sword Demon had already killed several Rank 2 beings before the war escalated. Linkir had grown stronger, now at the middle level Rank 1.

The Sword Demon's massive form tensed. His newfound strength came from a gruesome truth—killing and devouring souls fueled his growth.

"If I kill enough, I'll be strong enough to face the ancient clan.. strong enough to save my mom and dad," he thought grimly.

...raaar..

A dragon's roar echoed through the forest as SEIDES charged at them. The little dragon stood at front ,ready to defend it's master .

In her aeron form, Linkir attacked alongside the Sword Demon, cutting through the horde.

***********

Surrounded by SEIDES, a lone figure stood indifferent, his hair disheveled, his eyes devoid of life.

"About enough .. hmm should worth something," Shen Ye muttered coldly.

The SEIDES lunged at him, hissing, "Food!"

But as his aura flared, time seemed to stop. Shen Ye walked past them without a second glance, heading deeper into the forest toward the beast at the center. Behind him, the air distorted, and the SEIDES fell, their blood sucked dry.

" ...or not "..., shen ye said in disgust as he didn't feel an increase in strength.

Shen ye's element was of cause time...

Across the world, devastation reigned. The SEIDES devoured everything in their path, growing stronger with each kill. Rank 1 and Rank 2 SEIDES turned the tide of battle, making survival ever more difficult.

Because of the war just fought recently ,The demon clans, lustful orcs, and goblins were all gone. The dark areas of the world, were empty . Turned into a forbidden zone by the sect masters anger. This very war was lost before it even began.

************

The war dragged on for days, weeks and even months. The SEIDES grew stronger and stronger till they were unstoppable, their hunger insatiable. Soon, nothing was left of the world but white, ghostly figures. Few Rank 2 beings still lived—Shen Ye, Sword Demon, Linkir—each growing stronger as the conflict wore on.

Sword Demon had broken through to quasi-peak Rank 2, Linkir was at high level Rank 2, and Shen Ye, though slower, had reached middle level Rank 2.

The world was desolate. Creatures that once roamed freely had been wiped out, leaving only survivors scattered in small groups or alone.

***********

Back at the Quinlan Sect, only the sect master remained. She watched as her disciples , peak Masters and elders died one after the one . She couldn't move—if she did, the Rank 3 SEIDES would descend and devour everyone and the whole world.

Even as they begged for her help, she had no choice. She still wanted to see her son. And her husband too.

The SEIDES surrounding her chuckled darkly.

"Your son isn't here," one said mockingly.

"Don't lie to me!" the sect master demanded, her voice cold. "Show me my son!"

" Well , He's alive, growing stronger," another SEIDES commented, eyeing her with a twisted grin.

"Enough talking, let's eat," one of the SEIDES sneered

" Yes .. let's eat ...., another SEIDES commented as they launched their attack.

Seeing this .. the Rank 3 being finally made a move as they were all transported to a space.

This space was the size of a universe but much stronger so their damage had reduce.

The SEIDES were not surprised as they attacked.

Half laws were directly used as this very space shook. But didn't collapsed...

The sect master deflected the blows, her sword cutting through their half-law attacks. But she knew this fight was beyond her—she was invincible to the natives, but to the SEIDES, she was merely average. One powerful kick sent her flying thousands of miles, her body slamming into the ground as a bone cracked.

She struggled to stand, her healing hampered by the SEIDES' overwhelming half law power. "Wait—I'll tell you how we reproduce!" she screamed in desperation, Experience new stories on empire

You said you will tell us how you reproduce?"..., a different SEIDES she had never seen before walked out. As the remaining SEIDES parted ways.

Yes— yes .., I will"..., the sect master said as she gritted her teeth in pain. The being nodded as he said a strange language she didn't know.

....crack...

The space they were in cracked and was destroyed as they appeared at the place they were in before. The half laws stopping the sect master from healing were gone.

The SEIDES that spoke grabbed her shoulders as she gritted her teeth in pain and it flew upwards towards the two eyes.

Beneath the sea, a massive being stirred.

"Finally… peak Rank 2," Void whispered, his voice parting the ocean.

He flew upwards, the sea closing behind him.

"Desolate.. hm… has the war ended?" Void asked, frowning while looking at the empty world .
