Destroying My Own World

Chapter 170 Desperate.

"No!" Elena jolted from her seat and slammed her hand on the table so that it disintegrated into nothingness. "I'm not going to do that! And if Amy is going to do it, I'll kill her first before she could do anything to you!" Elena stared at Amaryllis with a severe expression.

"What do you think will happen to me if I became like him? If this power belonged to him, he might bring me to his side since I wouldn't be able to control this power anymore," Mykel asked as he walked towards Elena. "You have no choice, Elena, and I'm not saying that it's inevitable. I'll find a solution for this problem, but I want you to do this for me if there's no other way," Mykel added and stood right in front of her.

"Then just erase that skill! You don't need that skill!" Elena shouted because she was so angry just thinking about it.

"I did earlier before I came here. I can't delete the skill because it somehow doesn't belong to the system, it's beyond that," Mykel answered as he rolled his left sleeve and cut his wrist to let Elena look at the blood that had turned whiteish blue. "Before, no matter how powerful I have become, my blood is still red. Because of this power, it slowly changes the blood inside my body," Mykel explained as he showed the blood on his wrist.

Elena was furious that she grunted as she clenched her fists and didn't know what to do. She was frustrated because she didn't want to blame Mykel for what he put inside his body. At the same time, she was anxious about what would happen in the future because she knew there wouldn't be anything that could overpower the [Supremacy] skill.

"I'm sorry," Mykel said as he put his hands on Elena's checks and put his forehead on hers. "I promise I'll do my best to find a solution no matter how hard. But, I also want you to promise me that you will do it for me," Mykel continued and looked Elena in the eyes.

"No," Elena shook her head as she pushed Mykel away slowly and gently and looked at him with her eyes glimmering in tears. "I won't do it, and nobody in this whole universe can do it because I'll kill them," Elena said with a trembling voice.

Elena left and Amaryllis had no idea where she went because she couldn't detect her location. She then looked at Mykel who was frozen still and he looked sad that she wanted to approach him and hug him.

"Why didn't you tell her?" Amaryllis asked and looked at Mykel with a worried expression.

"Tell her what?" Mykel asked as he put a cigarette in his mouth.

"That you're no longer in the system because that power devour all your skills and became one with it," Amaryllis answered and hesitated to approach Mykel. "If she knew that it's already too late, she might consider it," Amaryllis pointed out.

"I promise her that I will let her do whatever she wants. She's stubborn like me and free-willed like Lyneth. I don't think it would matter if she knows," Mykel replied as he sat on the stairs and smoked his cigarette.

"Then..." Amaryllis paused as she sat next to Mykel. "What are you going to do? It has come to this, and you're running out of options," Amaryllis continued and looked at him.

"I think that's the point," Mykel leaned his back on the stairs and rested his head as he stared at the ceiling. "The Lord knows what I have, and he let everything happen because, in the end, I belong to him," Mykel said as he smoked his cigarette.

Amaryllis frowned and slowly leaned her body on Mykel's chest, and then rested her head on it. She felt awkward until Mykel wrapped his right arm around her waist as he held her tightly.

"Would you do it?" Mykel asked and kept staring at the ceiling.

"No. I can't," Amaryllis shook her head. "I would die for you, but I don't want you to die for us. Everyone would say the same thing without hesitation," Amaryllis pointed out and looked up at Mykel's face.

Mykel only hummed with understanding and blankly stared at the ceiling.

"Do you want to try it?" Amaryllis asked as she showed one of the seeds to Mykel.

Mykel looked at it for a moment and then put his hand on it as he tried to transfer his [Supremacy] power into the seed. Unfortunately, nothing happened, and they both knew that wouldn't work since the power had become one with him.

"Come with me," Mykel said as he slowly sat up. "Let's talk with Uriel since she might know the answer," Mykel added.

They both went into the cabin, and Uriel didn't hesitate to release a sunbeam at them. Amaryllis blocked the beam with a barrier and then snapped her fingers to stop Uriel from using her power.

"You have no power here," Amaryllis said and then pushed her hand down to make Uriel on her knees with unparalleled force.

"Funny that you tried to harm me even though you were on your knees and called me The Lord not long ago," Mykel said as he looked at Uriel.

Uriel furrowed her eyebrows and she looked clueless about what Mykel was talking about.

"Looks like you don't remember, or perhaps your mind is set to bow before him no matter what happened," Mykel said as he dragged a chair and put it in front of Uriel. "Look around you, where do you think you are? And why are you staying in this place even though you remember that it was her that brought you here?" Mykel asked as he sat down and stared into Uriel's eyes.

Uriel furrowed her eyebrows again and this time she found it suspicious and odd. She couldn't find a reasonable answer or logic to that question, and then she realized that Mykel was telling the truth.

"How?! How do you possess The Lord's power?!" Uriel asked as she glared at Mykel furiously because she couldn't accept there was anyone who possessed the same power as her master.

"Why are you so angry about it even though you were the one who gave me the opportunity to possess this power?" Mykel asked back. "Thanks to the seeds you gave to those fallen angels, I have achieved Supremacy, God's Particle," Mykel said.

Uriel's expression turned drastically from anger to guilt and anxiety because, in the end, it was her fault. She became quiet and lowered her head since she couldn't bear the consequences of her actions.

"Turns out I don't need this power, so can you help me get rid of this power?" Mykel asked.

Uriel slowly raised her head and looked at Mykel with a confused look and wondered if he was playing a trick or not. But when she looked into Mykel's eyes, she could tell that he was telling the truth because he was anxious about it as well.

"I might be the most knowledgeable being in the whole universe after my Lord, but I don't possess such knowledge to help you out even if I want to," Uriel answered as she shook her head. "You have been playing God, and now you regret it?" Uriel asked curiously.

"I don't want it because I don't want to become someone else," Mykel answered. "Just like you. Do you want to look at someone else as your master? The fact that you bowed your head to me not long ago, doesn't that anger you because you have no control over it?" Mykel asked.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Uriel understood what Mykel meant by that because she could sense the changes inside Mykel's body.

"I don't want to become like him, and you don't want that either. Since we have the same interest, can you help me get rid of this power for me?" Mykel asked.

"No beings in the whole universe are capable of withstanding The Lord's power. You shouldn't be able to do that either, but the fact you can, that's already an abnormality," Uriel answered.

Mykel realized that, but the reason might be because of the old system that made the power compatible for him. In the end, the system inside him got devoured in exchange for its compatibility.

"Give her back the seeds," Mykel said as he looked at Amaryllis.

Amaryllis nodded her head and brought all fourteen seeds with her. She put them all down in front of Uriel which surprised Uriel because they were all the real seeds that she gave to the demons.

"You came for those so take them, and I'll tell you everything you need to know to report it back to your master," Mykel said as he crossed his legs.

"Why are you doing this?" Uriel asked with suspicion.

"Go back up there and help me get rid of this power," Mykel answered. "I'm a man of my word, but I need you to help me as well," Mykel said as he stood up and looked down at Uriel.

"I can't," Uriel shook her head, but she seemed to regret it for giving that answer. "I can't do this behind The Lord's back because he knows everything," Uriel explained.

"That's exactly why I'm asking for your help. It's because he knows, and have you ever wondered why he suddenly let me destroy Earth? I think the reason is because he knows that Earth can't be saved because of what I possess," Mykel said. "Tell him the truth, and ask him how to get rid of the power inside me," Mykel continued with a serious expression.

Both Uriel and Amaryllis were surprised when they heard that.

"Why would you go that far?" Uriel asked.

"I'm desperate," Mykel answered.
