Chapter 183: Enslaving the King of Desert (c)

Chapter 183: Enslaving the King of Desert (c)

Whittaker went into the sandy cloud that was filled with massive danger. He has seen the Eighteen-legged Centipede breaking free from the fortification talisman and going underground after the Wind Blast.

He used Devansha vision and opened his eyes as wide as he could to catch the beast swimming within the sand in his vision, and at the same time, he also tried to feel the vibration in the sand to trace it.

"It's here," Soon, Whittaker felt the vibration in a sandy area several meters away and his eyes turned to focus on that area. There, he saw the king of sand and it was coming towards him very fastly.

As if using teleportation, It wormed its way through the sand and reached right beneath him in a mere second and luged out of the sand to swallow him like a bug but he evaded the attack by using Ghost step and jumping back.

"I really angered this beast." He said after landing on an area some meters away from the King of the sand.

The beast which is more stronger than the floor boss of the tenth floor was charging up its ultimate attack, the toxic Sandy breath. Although It is very cunning but it have been angered to the limit by being beaten by a weakling.

'I want nothing else but the death of the boy that harmed me and the prey that escaped me!' It thought as green sandy energy began to condense in the middle of its disgusting mouth with dozens of sharp teeth.

"I guess I gotta use some more talisman. There's no need to worry. I won't go bankrupt even if I use ten times more talisman," Whittaker said with a calm expression as he took out a Defensive Holy glow talisman, Poison, and toxic nullifying talisman from the rankless ring of genesis.

With a thought, he used the poison and toxic nullifying talisman on his body. A green glow enveloped his body. Similarly, he used the holy glow defensive talismans on his body and a holy golden glow enveloped him in a protective cover.

'Using the nullifying talisman means that all toxic-based attacks will be completely useless against me till the duration of the talisman ends. Its ultimate attack would lose out on its most damaging aspects, the poison. While the defensive holy glow talisman would negate the physical force behind the attack.' Whittaker thought.

He was confident that the beast's ultimate attack will be useless against him. After all, he has used so many expensive and powerful talisman that counter poison and negates damage.

King of Sand wasn't intelligent enough to understand the might of talismans. It was just a D-rank savage magical beast, after all. All at once, It let out a green toxic gas mixed with heavy sand from its mouths and it rained down at Whittaker.

The sand mixed with toxic energy blasts towards his direction and split into two sides upon touching the green and holy glows surrounding him. It was as if a celestial has slashed his sword vertically and split the ocean apart.

The toxic sand spread wide and far, covering most of the area around, and even crashed on the walls of the defensive formation that Whittaker has set up. Thankfully, he set up a defensive formation otherwise, Fiorin and the other two would have been disintegrated by the toxic gas.

Any insect or living creatures that the toxic sandy breath touched immediately either got crushed, rotted, or disintegrated. Even the sand sizzled and evaporated!

Only Whittaker was able to calmly walk through the toxic Sandy breath like it was nothing. Not even a single strand of hair on his head was misplaced by its ultimate attack. Every damage was negated by the almighty talismans he used.

Now this... This was the power of being a tycoon. Being so rich that owing pricey talisman and using a lot of them won't be painful to the heart. This wealth came to him the moment he became Zachary's student and more was still to come.

How strong was that attack?

Even a group of D-rank awakened will die under it. Heck, no one below C-rank should be able to survive yet the boy IT thought to be an ignorant brat was walking within the poisonous sand with a vexed expression and he was stepping towards itself.

Standing vertically, it stared at him with an expression of lament and extreme caution.

"Just whose monster child have I offended," the beast internally thought.

"I should have used a smell dispelling talisman," Whittaker still complained with an irritated expression as the smell was too disgusting and no human should ever smell.

His nose crinkled and his face distorted due to the stink of its toxic sandy breath.

What a bad smelly breath!!!!!

Pu! Kuah!

Hearing those words, the beast with little intelligence convulsed in anger.

The heck!

"Do you have to go so far? You did walk through my attack but that doesn't mean you can stomp all over my pride!"

No matter what, it was still the King of sand. The number one and the most powerful beast in the entire tenth floor. It was to be respected and fear not disdained.

Standing upright, it shouted and sent its tentacle-like limbs straight at the boy nagging after surviving its ultimate attack with little to no harm.

"Blood spikes slash!"

Looking at the limbs that were gonna whip him to death, he repeatedly slashed Blood Drinker horizontally, and at the same time, poured up to 20 units of battle energy into the blood attribute line of the sword.

Sishi!! sishi!!!

As he slashes outwards, streaks of scarlet lights shaped like thin and sharp spikes shot out from the sword. Just like hot knives passing through buttes, they easily sliced through the limbs of the beast and smashing on its metallic shell, denting it and smashing it on the sandy ground with a heavy "Thud."

Right after, he summoned his frost spellbook from his soul space and decided to use his ultimate.

"Damn beast, since you have used a smelly ultimate attack now face my ultimate too! I hope you will be able to survive!" He taunted the angry and awe-struck beast while commanding the Frost spellbook to cast,

Frost Spike Storm

Instantly, a massive cloud formed above the King of sand that was surprised to see that its ultimate has been so easily blocked by its prey.

Suddenly, it found its vision being obscured by the massive cloud that emitting cold icy energy.

The cloud had cast a shadow over it as if announcing its upcoming doom.

Shi* shi**! Shi* shi**!!

The King of Sand didn't even get the chance to react when dozens of large frosty spikes rained out of the massive cloud.

Bam! Bam! Bam! The frost spike crashed on its shelled body but the force behind the slam was enough to make it feel like it was going to get pounded to death.

"It should submit to me anytime soon," Whittaker thought as he watched the show.

The only thing he was missing right now was popcorn.

It was a Eighteen-legged centipede. It was crowned as the king of sand. It was one of the most ferocious savage beasts in the entire Scorpion-kin desert. Possessing great might, it was usually the predator. Yet, at this moment, it was being smashed to death by frost spike that rained down endlessly.

What kind of strength did that youngster possess? It didn't know.

The King of Sand spewed out blood. Why did everything have to be so shitty? Unable to eat for a day? Now getting pounded by endless frost spikes that seemingly were gonna smash an insect like magical beast to death.

Did it wanted to die? There's no way. It wanted to survive no matter what! It was so hard for a mere F-rank beast like it to reach D-rank. It killed, it struggled for years to survive, and then evolved. So how could it possibly allow everything to end her?

As Whittaker was merciless watching its end with anticipated gleaming in his eyes, the King of Sand struggled to crawl forward. Under the rain of frost spikes, it took it a little longer than expected to crawl up to Whittaker and prostrate to him.

"Kuuuuh!" The King of Sand lowered its prideful head and shouted in submission.

"What?" The young boy was confused.

Ding! This is Voluntary Submission! The Guardian has smashed him so badly that the King of beast got awed by your mystifying strength and is willing to serve you!" Noah notified.

"I already know!" Whittaker replied. He knows what the beast meant by its action. He was just surprised that it willingly agreed to surrender and serve him so fast.

He thought that since it's a powerful beast, it will only surrender at the last breath.

The King of the desert was clearly sane and somewhat intelligent. It knows that by submitting to him, it will be able to survive and live for another day. Living was better than death, at least to it. Furthermore, it was awed by the boy's strength and didn't find it hurtful to serve someone stronger.

Hence, it didn't wait to reach near death before shouted surrender. Now that's something only a fool would do.

"Since you are willing to submit to me, I don't mind taking you in! However, you are a savage beast that ate humans in the past. Therefore, I will be forming a slave contract with you. I hope you don't mind!" Whittaker said to the beast after stopping the continuous Frost spike Storm spell.

"Kuuuuh!" King of Sand replied. It was as if saying, "I'm willing!"
