Chapter 171: The Ingots
Leo took the ingots from Shane and was amazed by what he saw!
[ Starlight Silver Ingot x10 ]
[ Abyssal Iron Ingot x10 ]
[ Phoenix Copper Ingot x10 ]
[ Sunfire Gold Ingot x10 ]
"Ohhhhh… So I no longer have to process ores this time… You found treasures, Shane!" Leo's eyes lit up after seeing the ingots Shane placed in front of him.
"I indeed found them in a treasure chest. Make some weapons or armor or whatever you think is better out of them…" Shane replied.
"You want me to decide what I'll do with them?" Leo asked with a hint of excitement in his voice.
"Yes. You're the expert… I'll let you handle them… Just think that they will be equipped by those elves and other Survivors… Right, for the Sunfire Gold Ingot, try to make a weapon with the monk and the warlord in your mind as their owner."
"Hooo~ This is quite challenging. It would be great if you can find another blacksmith who can work as my assistant. This will be a lot of work."
"Don't worry… I will be recruiting a lot of people soon. We just need to finish their living quarters and other basic needs." Shane replied.
The two chatted for a little while more before Shane left forge to return to his small room.
Soon, Leo was alone in his smithy.
As he looked at the ingots in front of him, he couldn't help but smile and excitedly inspected each of them.
[ Starlight Silver Ingot:
Description: A rare metal forged from Starlight Silver Ore, emitting a soft, silvery glow reminiscent of distant stars. Its lustrous surface reveals intricate celestial patterns that seem to shift with the beholder's gaze, hinting at its mystical origins and the potential for crafting legendary artifacts.
Effects: Weapons crafted from Starlight Silver Ingot possess a celestial grace, granting the wielder enhanced accuracy and the ability to strike with precision, increasing critical hit chances. Armor forged from this ingot bestows agility upon the wearer, enabling swift movements and quick reflexes in combat. ]
"It's really meant to be used for weapons or pieces of equipment for high dexterity… The elves would surely like weapons made of these ingots…" Leo commented as he already had a rough idea about the elven's abilities.
[ Abyssal Iron Ingot:
Description: Forged from the depths of the abyss, this dark and foreboding metal exudes an aura of solid strength and impenetrable fortitude. Its weight hints at its exceptional density, harboring the essence of ancient mysteries waiting to be unleashed in the form of formidable armaments.
Effects: Weapons crafted from Abyssal Iron Ingot bestow a sense of resilience to the wielder, granting increased defensive capabilities and the ability to withstand enemy assaults. Armor fashioned from this ingot offers unparalleled protection and resilience, reducing damage taken in the heat of battle. ]
"These are for Super Soldiers I guess…" Leo muttered as he actually wanted to provide helmets that could also protect the necks of these Super Soldiers. After all, he had a hunch that their weakness was actually their heads or necks.
[ Phoenix Copper Ingot:
Description: Radiating a warm, fiery glow and adorned with flickering flame-like patterns, this copper ingot embodies the essence of the legendary phoenix. Its malleability and enchanting luminescence suggest a transformative power, promising the creation of weapons and armor infused with fiery resilience and vigor.
Effects: Items crafted from Phoenix Copper Ingot channel the elemental power of fire, imbuing attacks with a burning essence that deals continuous damage to foes over time. Armor crafted from this ingot provides increased resistance to fire-based attacks, shielding the wearer from flames and heat-related damage. ]
"Mhmm… I can make plenty of arrowheads with these ingots…" Leo muttered as he felt that it would be perfect for the Phoenix Copper to become arrowheads with their burning essence.
Lastly, Leo looked at the new type of metal that Shane brought to him.
[ Sunfire Gold Ingot:
Description: Crafted from the rarest of ores infused with the essence of the sun's fiery wrath, the Sunfire Gold Ingot gleams with a radiant golden hue that seems to pulse with an otherworldly heat.
Its enchanting glow instills a sense of confidence and power in those who wield it, as if the flames of the sun itself dance within its core, ready to incinerate any undead abominations that dare to cross its path.
Effects: Weapons or charms forged from Sunfire Gold Ingot are imbued with a potent anti-undead enchantment, making them particularly effective against zombies and other unholy creatures. The mere touch of these weapons sears the flesh of the undead, causing them to wither and crumble into ash with each strike.
Those who bear armor or accessories made from this ingot find themselves shielded from the dark energies of the undead, granting them increased resilience and protection against necrotic powers. ]
"No wonder… So it's really a gold meant to kill Zombies." Leo muttered as he realized why the Monk and the Warlord would be prioritized with the weapons to be made with this gold.
However, it seemed that making them as a weapon would not be ideal…
"I hope making accessories with them would be a better choice. I should experiment in one ingot first." Leo muttered as he also couldn't help but think that he really needed an assistant since his work was just growing by the day.
***
In the meantime, while Leo was inspecting the ingots, Shane was already in his room and triggered his Title Effect!
[ Do you wish to activate the Title's Effect? ] The system prompt inquired.
"Yes." Shane affirmed.
[ You will be transported to the Fairy Realm. The duration will be 8 hours ]
In an instant, the fabric of space seemed to twist and warp around him. It was the familiar sensation that he was already used to.
Just as the message said, he was indeed transported through some enigmatic form of spatial sorcery.
Whom~
A sudden disorienting darkness engulfed his senses… Before, this feeling made him lightheaded and unsteady but since his level was already high, he no longer felt such discomfort.
When he finally reopened his eyes, a vast meadow stretched out before him and he was immediately welcomed by his pets!
