Chapter 600: Chapter 600 - Legendary Broken Player (Special Chapter)
Broken stood up with a small smile. He took a deep breath, looking as if he was about to speak, but paused for effect, leaving everyone hanging.
"Damn it! Don't waste our time!" Melliandra complained.
Finally, Broken broke the silence. "We won against Elaine that time because I received a special item... directly from the Goddess Akidia."
The room erupted.
"Oh, damn it!"
"He really is the Sloth Champion!"
"Hahaha!"
"Broken is the Sloth Champion!"
Everyone's curiosity was finally satisfied, and they laughed and cheered in relief.
"Legendary Broken Player!" RememberMe shouted.
"Oh, hearing this is such a blessing!" Tora exclaimed.
"What kind of blessings did the Goddess of Sloth even give you, Broken? Damn!"
"I bet the Goddess was too lazy to pick five champions. She just picked one and gave him all the blessings!" another laughed.
Goldrich's eyes gleamed with interest. "Could it be... she gave you the Self-Transcendence Blessing, Broken?"
"What?! The same one that King Elandorr has?"
"Damn, this all makes sense now!"
With a calm gesture, Broken brought the room to a gentle silence. The eager, excited faces of everyone present turned toward him, watching intently.
"All right," he began. "I think that wraps up our meeting. Thank you to everyone for being here. I'm proud that we managed to get everything done so smoothly."
Everyone nodded in agreement, but his expression grew more determined.
"I want to make it clear: I am set on reaching the highest level in this game, the most extreme challenge it has to offer. So, I invite each of you to join me on this journey. Let's reach that goal together!"
"Yoy!"
"Yoha!"
"Ayee!
"We need a battle yell, Broken!" Jovina suggested with a grin.
"I'll think of something," Toberry replied with a chuckle.
"Wait, I have ideas!" RememberMe chimed in.
"Skip any ideas from RememberMe and Booba on sight!" Melliandra said with a smirk.
Broken grinned, shaking his head. "Let's hold off on battle yells until later, shall we? Right now, I think Princess Alora is waiting for us at the celebration. Let's go!"
"Yoha!"
"Let's go!" The members cheered.
With a confident smile, Broken took out the Slumdon Cape and fastened it, and with a determined stride, he led the Vensalor Guild members out of the room, ready for what awaited them.
A large crowd had gathered outside the grand inn where the Vensalor Guild was inducting its new members.
As Broken emerged, the crowd's buzz of curiosity grew louder. Draped in his cape, and with the former members of the Ass Guild flanking him, Broken quickly became the center of attention.
He walked confidently at the front, flanked closely by Kingsley and Optimus, the two largest members of the guild, who towered at his sides like imposing bodyguards. The sight drew murmurs of admiration and disbelief from onlookers.
As he stepped forward, journalists and players rushed toward him, eager to get a word.
"Broken, can we ask you some questions?"
"What kind of offer did you make to convince the Ass Guild to join Vensalor?"
"Many people are doubting your qualifications. What do you have to say about that?"
"What's the secret behind the Ass Guild's surprising decision?"
Despite the flood of questions, Broken remained calm.
"Broken, you're not very well-known yet. Do you have any special secrets that helped you become so popular so quickly?"
"You were practically unknown just a few months ago. What's your background that's brought you to prominence so suddenly?"
Broken answered with a calm smile. "I invited them to join because I wanted them, and they accepted my offer."
The questions kept coming. "Did you promise them anything? Money?"
He laughed, shaking his head. "They're much wealthier than I am. There's no way money could influence them."
"So what's your plan for this new guild?" someone else called out.
"To challenge the game, of course," he replied.
"Broken, are you aware there are many guilds who oppose the Ass Guild? Are you prepared to
face them?"
"Yes," he said confidently. "I'm ready to fight whoever stands in our way."
"Broken, why are you so close to Princess Alora?"
Broken gave a respectful nod. "Well, she's the Crowned Princess of the Dissidia Kingdom, and
I have a great deal of respect for her."
Elincia, Goldrich, and Freya watched in amazement as Broken responded to the barrage of questions with an unusual level of composure and confidence.
"How can he change so fast?" Elincia said.
"Khi khi khi... as if he's suddenly become so sure of himself," Goldrich mused. "And
answering each question with such conviction?"
"Yes," Elincia continued, "I've never seen him act this way before. Usually, he tries to avoid interviews entirely, making up any excuse he can."
Freya smiled thoughtfully. "He really is peculiar. It's like... the moment he decides to pursue something, he fully embraces it. Just look at him. He went from uncertain to Guild Master, and now he's like an upgraded version of himself."
Goldrich chuckled. "Then tell me, is there anything he can't do? I'm almost afraid to think of what he'd become if he ever set his sights on being a shameless playboy or, dare I say... a harem king. Khi khi khi...."
Elincia shot him a look. "Why do I feel like you'd actually want him to try that, you old
pervert?"
When Broken had answered enough questions, Kingsley and Optimus moved in to gently usher the journalists aside, clearing a path for him. The royal party was waiting. That evening, the town hall was alive with excitement, packed with citizens eager to celebrate. The festivities included food, music, dancing, and other entertainment. A joyful tribute to the heroes of Dissidia for their recent victory over the Moonlight Fae.
Leading the way, Broken strode forward in elegant white attire and his signature Cape of Slumdon. Beside him walked Ivana, dressed in a stunning gown of gold and black that complemented her flowing blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
Behind them followed the members of the Vensalor Guild, each with a reputation that resonated both in the game and beyond. The crowd watched them with admiration, drawn to the strength, mystery, and renown of this remarkable guild.
That night, everyone present had to come to terms with the surprising reality: the members of the renowned Ass Guild had pledged their loyalty to the newly formed Vensalor Guild, under the leadership of Broken-a relatively unknown figure whose background and capabilities were still a mystery to most.
The town hall was alive with music, dancing, and an atmosphere of celebration. Princess Alora stood at the heart of it all, radiant in a striking gown of black, and red that complemented her fiery red hair, enhancing her beauty even more. Two royal knights stood by her side as she warmly welcomed the Vensalor Guild.
"Good evening, Your Highness, Princess Alora," Broken greeted, stepping forward.
"Good evening, Lord Broken, Baron of Slumdon, Hero of Dissidia, and Master of the Vensalor
Guild," Princess Alora replied with a warm smile, her beauty glowing under the hall's light. "This grand celebration is to honor our collective success and the invaluable contributions you've made to the Kingdom."
As Broken walked, flanked by the elegant Princess Alora and the stunning Ivana, the sight left everyone in awe. Heads turned, and admiration filled the room as they watched, captivated by the extraordinary presence of the trio.
Princess Alora joined Broken and his companions as they took their seats at the table prepared
for them.
That evening, all eyes were unmistakably on him, who had become the center of conversation due to his remarkable achievements and the mystery surrounding him.
The crowd whispered in curiosity and speculation: how had he convinced the prestigious Ass
Guild to disband and follow him into his newly established guild? And what explained his apparent closeness with Princess Alora?
However, amidst the festivities, Broken might still be unaware that two large groups were approaching from afar, threatening him from a side he may not yet suspect.
