Chapter 739 - 733: Man and Nature (Part 3)
Chapter 739: Chapter 733: Man and Nature (Part 3)
Everyone had gotten back in the vehicle for quite some time. Pass this main road; the roads inside were not as noticeable. Many tracks seem to have formed naturally from dirt in the forests, and are full of natural ambiance. But actually, these paths were no different from the previous ones, merely camouflaged to look like naturally formed footpaths in the forests. They were still man-made.
Yet, such paths enhanced the whole park with a natural touch. In many bourgeois mansions, whether lawns or elsewhere, everything was trimmed neatly. Even though there were lots of shady trees, those were the result of human trimming and planting, exhibiting an artificial symmetry and regulative beauty. But Finn Lewis’ mansion was different; very few areas were industrially pruned. Many lawns were untrimmed, natural.
Everything here emitted a harmonious ambiance, the picturesque beauty of nature. The first impression of many visitors was this place should only exist in novels, and yet now, it was materializing before their eyes.
There were too many beautiful sceneries throughout the park. While being beautiful, they still retained a natural touch. One should know that the entire park’s design was calculated by Olivia Thatcher. Although Olivia’s computational ability was not as extraordinary as Luna Starfield’s, to design a place like this was more than enough.
Upon entering the villa district, another sensation was experienced. The entire villa district was like an ocean of flowers. A variety of flowers grew in the soil. An unknown fact to many, speckles of a certain flower were planted amongst the flowery ocean of the entire villas. These flowers seemed very ordinary. Even botanists would fail to recognize them without genetic analysis. These little flowers did not originate from earth.
Don’t underestimate these little flowers; they play an important role in driving away small insects. They don’t have such a strong effect on larger insects. Bees can still be seen here, but you wouldn’t find any mosquitos. Such flowers could not be a product of nature but are human-made. There were many things humans invented for their comfort.
Despite their high cost, Finn planted them here. Consequently, one would not have to worry about insects within the entire villa district. Just this villa district adopted a more classical architectural style. However, if you think that was it, you would be mistaken. Here, the level of technology probably surpassed the entire Dreamland.
There was a huge underground area. After entering inside the villa, you would realize how technologically advanced it was, taking people by surprise. The ground part of the entire villa district was not tall, the highest being three stories; however, the area covered was vast. There are various types of houses dotted across different districts of the entire villa district.
Places like residential areas and areas of servants and security guards, were all separated. There was a small, fully automated vehicle inside the villa district that could be directed anywhere with the assistance of the entire villa district’s positioning system, allowing even children to use it.
‘This place is like a paradise, so luxurious,’ remarked a member of the group after a visit to the main villa. There was no need to visit other parts. Just the surface layer seemed like a paradise. Perhaps in the West, such a place could be found everywhere, but in Flame nation, such a place was unprecedented, irreplicable.
Do you think the sceneries within the entire villa could be constructed easily? Within the 100 square kilometers, there are not only hills, jungles, and primeval forests. But also large lawns, horse fields, golf courses, an underground racetrack, and desert, lakes, etc. You could witness a variety of sceneries. If the ocean were not missing, you could find all types of landscapes here.
From the combination of these many sceneries, we can infer how expensive its construction was. Maybe except for Finn Lewis, others cannot afford it because they don’t have energy culture fluid which allows successful transplantation of some plants living here.
There are also a variety of advanced elements; for instance, underground of the villa, there are two subway systems reaching the deepest part of the mansion, separately connecting to Dreamland City and Finn Lewis’s private airport. Another hidden path led to an underground hanger near the natural mountain at the boundary of the mansion. Parked there was not an airplane, but a spaceship. A small spaceship brought back by Finn Lewis.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Furthermore, it was not overly bragging that even if hundreds of missiles were launched simultaneously towards here, Finn Lewis could handle it in a split second. However, these things could not be openly discussed. Of course, if anyone tried to sneak around and enter, hehe, then you are in for a treat. Many plants within the park did not originate from the earth.
Many plants were alien plants cultivated by the Galactic Federation. Others were fake plants featuring strong technology that could disguise themselves. These plants had attacking and surveilling capabilities, with the whole mansion within the scope of surveillance. Do not assume as if there are no territorial boundaries around. If anyone sneaked in, whether intentionally or not, t1000 would promptly appear before you.
There was no need to worry about these. Finn believed there would definitely be many people interested in this place, as well as countless secret agents from various countries. For these people, if they came here and wanted to leave, it would be difficult. Those who could persist till the appearance of t1000 without collapsing were awesome. There were many plants here that had the ability to subdue people. Of course, these plants were harmless. Some other plants were high technology camouflage plants, under the control of Olivia.
